Catastrophic Volcano Buries City.

A terrible catastrophe has happened in Pompeii (well what used to be pompeii.) The day started like a normal day, the only difference was what people thought was an earthquake. The earthquake was quickly followed by surging heat cascaded over Pompeii in early hours of the morning. The heat was instant. The first surge of heat was about 180–220°C, the second was around 220-260°C.

I interviewed a willing survivor from the eruption. Named Veronica Stuart; age 25; 1 kid, husband died in eruption. “I felt the tremors of the eruption and knew at once what it was. I got my family together to rush us out, but, I saw my husband die, he thought he saw our cat struggling, he ran off towards it to find it was just a bit of cloth in the wind, he turned  to look back at me, and a burning tree fell on him, he always said he would do anything for animals. Once I got out on the lake with my son, I looked back to Pompeii, I could see the lava pouring into our homes, family and friends. I cried looking back at my old home.”

Surrounding towns and cities have been searching for what  might  have caused the eruption. After interviewing survivors, no one saw anything or anyone that may have caused this tragedy. One survivor had their lungs full of smoke. This was not just the only person with this, many people have smoke in their lungs because of the explosion that finally encased the city after the volcano was finished. No one knew why the volcano released it's fiery vengeance, they just thought that they may have angered the gods somehow.
